- A site structure diagram is a pre production technique used to plan the layout of a website, games and apps. "A diagram that represents the navigation for the end user when using an interatcive product"
- Media products they use site structure diagrams for is a computer programmer/coder. Needs to have instructions on how the end user is going to use it (audience)
- Navigation means how we get around something to different places- hyperlinks, buttons,
- The end user would be the audience
If I have to draw a site strucutures diagram in the exam the annotations should include:
- Why are the main pages included- how they are linked to the scenario/ brief
- What the hyperlinks are for and where they will take the audience
- Explain how pages are linked together- end user
Interactive feautures would be on each page (photos/videos/ sounds)- Linked to the brief
Examples of how the layout and features would appeal too the target audience
How the brand will be the same across all pages (colours/layout)
